Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aiqon Limited, trading as AIQON, collects and uses personal data when you visit aiqontech.com or contact us. It is written to meet our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988–2018.

1. Who we are

Aiqon Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. Information you give us

We only collect personal data that you choose to send us. In practice this means:

• Enquiries. When you submit the contact form we receive the name, email address, subject and message content that you entered. The form is delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-relay service, which passes the message on to us by email. See section 5. If the form cannot reach that service, it falls back to opening a pre-filled message in your own email application instead.
• Direct email. If you email us at info@aiqontech.com, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach.
• Booking a call. Our “Let’s Talk” links take you to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. If you book a call, you provide your details to Calendly directly and Calendly shares the booking with us. See section 5.

We do not operate user accounts, and this website does not ask for payment details.

3. Information collected automatically

Like any website, this site is served by a web server that keeps technical logs. These typically record your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and your browser and operating system version. These logs are used to keep the site available and secure, and to diagnose faults.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other analytics or marketing tracking technology, and it does not store anything in your browser’s local storage. Because we set no non-essential cookies, you will not see a cookie consent banner on this site.

If we introduce analytics or marketing technologies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before those technologies are loaded.

Fonts

This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google servers, and your IP address is visible to Google as part of that request. Google Fonts does not set cookies. See section 5 for more detail.

4. Why we use your data, and our legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and discuss possible work. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
• To keep this website available, secure and working correctly. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and integrity of our systems (Article 6(1)(f)).
• To meet legal and accounting obligations where a business relationship follows. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal data.

5. Service providers and third parties

We keep the number of third parties involved in this website deliberately small. The following are involved:

• Our hosting provider, which operates the servers that deliver this website and holds the technical logs described in section 3.
• Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), which serves the typefaces used on this site. Your IP address is processed as part of that request.
• Calendly (Calendly LLC), used for scheduling calls. Calendly only receives your data if you follow a booking link and choose to book. Calendly acts as its own controller for the data you enter there, under its own privacy policy.
• Web3Forms (Nettpad Technologies), which receives contact form submissions and relays them to us by email. It processes the name, email address, subject and message you enter in the form.
• Our email provider, which carries and stores the email correspondence you send to us.

International transfers

Some of the providers above are based in, or may process data in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on the safeguards available under GDPR Chapter V — in practice the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Correspondence with clients: kept for the duration of the relationship and for as long afterwards as we are required to retain business records, which under Irish law is generally six years.
• Server logs: kept only for as long as needed for security and diagnostics, normally a matter of months.

7. Security

This website is served over HTTPS. We apply access controls to the systems that hold correspondence, and we limit access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
• Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data while a concern is resolved.
• Object to processing that we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.
• Data portability — receive data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
